Jaat: Jani Master & Urvashi Return, Mythri Ignores?

With only a few days left for release, the makers of Jaat have started releasing other units from the film. The latest is a dance number, Touch Kiya, which features Urvashi Rautela.

Dance numbers have always helped to attract the audience. But in the case of Jaat, social media users claimed that Touch Kiya might not be able to create enough buzz since Mythri Movie Makers have approached a PR agency in terms of their marketing strategies.

Netizens are additionally feeling sorry for Sunny Deol now, considering the steps being taken by the producers for the promotion of Jaat. Despite that the film is releasing under the banner of Mythri, people are hardly aware of the fact that Touch Kiya has been released online.

Moreover, the song has still created headlines since it has been choreographed by Jani Master, who has been allegedly associated with certain controversies over the years.

Notably, an employee of Jani Master made allegations of sexual assault and harassment against him in September last year, and the victim was reportedly a minor when the alleged crime happened.

Although he was arrested the same month, he was released on bail in October 2024.

While Urvashi’s glamour should have helped Touch Kiya start trending everywhere, it has not happened for now. The song is still catchy considering that Bollywood does not create such songs nowadays and the dance steps are also up to the mark.

With Sunny Deol playing the lead, expectations are sky high from Jaat, and in this situation, the makers have to try something else if they are willing to pull huge crowds to theatres.

However, it remains to be seen if Jaat can break the records set by his last film, Gadar 2, grossing more than Rs. 500 crores at the box office.
