Twitter Suspends Controversial Actress’s Sister Account For Spreading Communal Hatred

It was only a few days ago we mentioned how the ‘Controversy Queens’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone manage to land in one pretty regularly. The latter was in the news previously, and now its turn of the former.

Kangana manages to hit the headlines at an alarming rate all due to her sister Rangoli. The female star’s sister Twitter account is a breeding ground for controversies. She is in a forever attacking mood on the platform.

However, it took an ugly turn in the past few days when Rangoli put forward her views on a community in the on-going coronavirus pandemic. She literally called for genocide of sorts asking the police to shoot them all. Rangoli referred to them as terrorists.

The point of focus here is the Muslims and the Tabiligi Jamati’s, in particular. As many are aware, their cluster has resulted in extensive reporting of covid-19 cases in India.

The moment Rangoli put such messages on the platform, people from across the film industry and other walks of life immediately called out. The Twitter official immediately took action and suspended the account. We have to see if Rangoli returns in a different avatar or resurfaces on a whole new medium.
