Surveen Chawla, the actress well known for her roles in projects like Hate Story 2, Sacred Games and much recently Rana Naidu alongside iconic South-Indian actor Rana Daggubati, shared her motherhood approach in an interview. It has left fans in awe of her open-minded and body positive approach.
She shared how her 3 year old daughter often comes across sanitary pads or other hygiene items at home that raise her curiosity. She has decided not to make the topic a taboo but familiarise her with the products and their usage.
She doesn’t want her daughter to grow up feeling that there are certain things about her own body that need to be hidden. In an approach to acquaint her with the nuances of her female anatomy she uses words like vagina and menstruation with her but obviously explains it to her in easy language as she is too young to understand everything.
She wishes that as her daughter grows up she will not feel societal restrictions and always feel like she can have an open conversation with her mother. Most fans are commending her approach while some feel a little uneasy yet appreciate her honesty.
