YRF’s Favorite: Who Saved Her from Casting Couch?

Vaani Kapoor is promoting her upcoming Netflix series Mandala Murders these days. It is known to all fans that Vaani gets tremendous backing from YRF despite her drastic career track.

Many have raised questions on her closeness with Aditya Chopra. But there are those who feel that their collaboration is based on genuine rapport.

Vaani herself opened up about her experience with YRF. She shared that being an outsider she had to be her “own cheerleader”.

She stated that when you don’t have parents or relatives from the industry, you can feel really lonely and lack support. But on a professional level, YRF has made her feel like home.

In her early years, her family was too protective but having a female casting agent reassured them. She opened up on how she never faced casting couch or any such abuse because Yash Raj Films have a strong policy against these matters.

Although she added she is not saying this to please anyone, many netizens felt that she has to say this because they are keeping her in the industry. If it wasn’t for YRF, many feel Vaani wouldn’t have come so far with her flat performance and average talent.
