Worst film and Worst actor nominations out!

The Golden Kelas, India’s version of the popular Hollywood’s award show Razzies, are back in news. Apparently the nominations have all been announced and the event date fixed. Hosted by the budding comedian Zakir Khan, the award show will take place in Delhi on 2nd of April.

Despite things going amiss last year, the Golden Kelas have returned and with valid nominations for a change. Some of last year’s much awaited films, which couldn’t be a part of Filmfare, have found a place here. The nominees for the worst film include superstars Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and SRK’s ‘Dilwale’, with a serious competition from ‘Bombay Velvet’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Shaandaar’ starring Shahid Kapoor, and ‘Singh Is Bliing’.

The proposed names in the worst Actor (Male) category are Arjun Kapoor for ‘Tevar’, Arjun Rampal for ‘Roy’, and Hero’s Sooraj Pancholi among others while finding their names in the the worst Actor (Female) category are actresses Sonakshi Sinha and Sonam Kapoor among others. While no actor ever shows up to collect this award, it will be a pleasant surprise if one of them decide to change that this year.
