Yash Now Targets VD After Ranveer: Who Will Jump Now?

Yash starrer Toxic: A fairytale for Grown-ups has officially postponed its release date. The film will now arrive in theatres on June 4, 2026 instead of its earlier March 19 release.

The makers confirmed the change and cited the ongoing tensions in Middle East countries as the reason. According to them, the situation could affect the film’s global release and box office potential.

Initially, Toxic: A fairytale for Grown-ups was scheduled to clash with Dhurandhar 2 at the box office. Since Dhurandhar 2 is already a known franchise, the competition was expected to be strong.

Industry observers believe the clash would have created a tough opening scenario for the Yash film.

At present, the promotional campaign for Toxic has not generated the expected excitement among audiences. Some trade analysts feel the marketing strategy has been relatively slow.

With the revised schedule, Toxic will now release just one day before Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.

Varun Dhawan’s film had reportedly secured the early June release window well in advance. The sudden entry of Toxic into the same period has now changed the box office equation.

Reports suggest that Varun Dhawan’s team was not expecting this development. The new release date now places both films in direct competition during the first week of June.

Industry discussions also mention that distributor Anil Thadani may have suggested the revised release date. This has added further speculation about the strategy behind the postponement.

Because of this, some analysts believe the official reason for the delay may not be the only factor. There is speculation that the makers preferred avoiding the earlier clash with Dhurandhar 2.

The shift now creates a new box office battle between Yash and Varun Dhawan.

The key question is whether Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will keep its current release date or move to avoid the clash.

For now, the industry is watching closely. The June 4 window could either turn into a major box office battle or see another scheduling change.
