1 versus Yevadu – who will win the battle?

In 2013, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan locked horns at the box-office with their films Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Naayak. While both the films turned out to be successful at the box-office, Mahesh Babu eventually emerged as the winner with his film.

While SVSC turned out to be one of the big hits of last year, Naayak did a reasonably good business of about INR 45 crores. But this time the trade expect the competition to be more fierce. Thanks to Sankranti weekend, the films are expected to take a good opening believe the analysts.

While the slick and stylish trailer of ‘1’ has already a strong buzz, Yevadu, which has been delayed for so many months, has an equally strong buzz among movie buffs. But the delay of Yevadu may or may not work in the favour of the film because fans of Ram Charan have lost especially after Zanjeer debacle.
