1000 Cr riding on the year end films!

With the festival season coming soon, several highly anticipated Bollywood movies will hit the silver screens and there is already a lot of buzz regarding their release. Starring well-known actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, and Kajol in the leading roles, these movies all fall under the big budget category.

The names of the four much awaited films are ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Tamasha’, ‘Dilwale’, and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. With their release dates approaching, the first being Salman’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ on Diwali, there is a lot of speculation regarding the amount of money riding on them.

Bollywood popular trade expects up to 1,000 crore is riding on the last quarter films. These big films have the potential to open in more than 4000 + screens so in all possibility last quarter could show net of 1000 crore.
