150 Cr at Stake for Dussehra but Major Isn’t Straight

One of the big holiday season is arriving and altogether half a dozen movies are in Dasara race trying to cash in the holiday season which starts from the last day of this September.

‘Premam’ starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead is one crucial film which is the most awaited among the lot because of the virtue of the original Malayalam movie which created records of its own. Besides this, there are four other small movies too.

Tamanna starrer ‘Abhinetri’, Kalyan Ram’s ‘ISM’, Sunil’s ‘Edu Gold Ehe’ and ‘Mana Oori Ramayanam’ are in the race. Including ‘Premam’, these films have around Rs.75 crores at stake. The largest stake holder in this Dasara race isn’t a straight Telugu movie. It is ‘Jaguar’ made with a budget of Rs.75 crores.

All in all, Rs.150 crores are at stake this Dasara. But, not even one straight Telugu movie in the form of a big budget movie starring A-listers except for Naga Chaitanya’s movie which can’t be classified under a big budget movie. When so many movies are at disposal, audiences will definitely go for the best. Let’s see who would emerge winners this big holiday season.
