2.0 Hindi Circuit Talk

After all the excitement built around ‘2.0‘, the movie has opened to positive talk not only in the Southern States but also in the Bollywood dominating areas where the majority of audiences speak Hindi. The movie is up to the mark when we talk about the standards and the openings very decent as expected.

In Tamil and Telugu, the movie will be scoring a hit but the range will be decided only later as it is too early to catch the pulse of the audiences, so soon. Even in the Hindi dominating belt, ‘2.0’ has got decent openings and especially, in single screens and mid-range multiplexes. The movie was made with an overwhelming budget and hence, ‘2.0’ needs to pick up in the high-end multiplexes to recover the costs.

So far, the talk is positive for the sci-fi thriller Hindi dubbed version and it is expected score high in the weekend. However, the first day figures of the movie for the Hindi version are nowhere near Baahubali. Akshay Kumar’s best opening collections is expected to come from this movie. His last movie ‘Gold’ has opened to Rs. 25 crore plus and ‘2.0’ is expected to turn out his best opening.

Akshay Kumar’s presence has helped the movie in the Hindi circuit. Without his inclusion into the project. Rs. 25 crore opening (expected and it’s likely to happen with the current info available) would not have been possible. The craze around ‘Baahubali 2’ was like a euphoria and that big craze has been missing, here. Let’s wait and see.
