2.0 Is the Biggest Movie in Indian History- Bates

Co-producer and action director of Transformers film series, Kenneth Bates was roped in work on the sequel of the super hit film ‘Robot’ featuring legendary actor Rajinikanth. Bates will be working as the action director in Shankar’s ‘2.0’ and in a recent candid chat, revealed a little about his experience as part of the 2.0’s team.

The first question we had was what it was like working with Rajinikanth. Bates did not disappoint us in saying that the Thalaivar “is respected and he brings an aura to the set.” Bates revealed that he watched ‘Robot’ (Enthiran) and said that “I could have chosen half a dozen other films, but I didn’t. I chose this one” as he was intrigued by director Shankar’s passion for the movie.

The only downside for him was the “endless legal forms” he had to sign for 2.0 contract. At the end he simply said that “we are making the biggest movie in the history of Indian films.” Rajini too said 2.0 will be the pride for India in recent first look launch event. Let’s hope this is all true.
