NVR Cinemas, the producers of high budget flick Spyder has taken the Telugu states right. The terms of the deal are yet to be known though. Be assured; the rights holders are likely to sell 2.0 to other distributors individually area wise once the theatrical trailer is out.
Initially, the rights of the Telugu states were snapped by Global Cinemas for a fancy amount. However, as the makers failed to keep up their end of the bargain and release the film on time, they dropped the deal. It was a long time ago and still until now; no one came forward to grab the rights of the prestigious project.
All eyes are now on the theatrical to see what Shankar has created at a budget of 500 Cr. The trailer will be out on November 3rd. Superstar Rajinikanth reprises his role from Robo whereas Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist. Amy Jackson is the heroine.
