It will damage the reputation of Shankar. The entire film seems to be visually dependent. There is another view that the trailer has nothing new in terms of action if one has seen the making video. It is the making video in better detail overall.

With enormous stakes involved and the leak like this, makes it abundantly clear why there is a shock in the industry. A cynic would say all this is only helping the movie build a buzz.
