2023: Year Of Perception Change for Deverakonda

2022 was a bad year for Vijay Deverakonda. His dream of becoming a successful pan-India hero with Liger backfired very badly.

Vijay needs to make a solid comeback in 2023 to make people forget his disastrous last film. It can’t be achieved by delivering just a normal hit film, which does well on the first weekend, makes some money, and people later forget it.

Vijay needs to deliver a resounding hit that will have a blockbuster album and which will become as memorable as Geetha Govindam. Or he will have to deliver a blockbuster ‘character-based’ film like Arjun Reddy or DJ Tillu, where his character itself becomes bigger than the film and becomes the film’s main talking point.

If he can deliver such films in 2023, only then the perception of people will change that he is the one who can become the biggest of stars in Tollywood and not restrict himself to being just another tier-2 hero.

Let’s hope Kushi turns out to be another Geetha Govindam for him.
