The makers of Historical Sholay film have copyrighted the ‘Gabbar Singh’ character name and any re-usage of the name will have to be with the consent of them. And now when the makers of Gabbar Singh-2 have approached them for the title, they are demanding 3 Crore rupees for the title. Incidentally, it is twelve times the amount (25 lakh) paid by producer Bandla Ganesh for Gabbar Singh previously.
Pawan Kalyan is reportedly not at all interested in shelling out such a huge sum and is considering to have a new title for the movie. The film will go on floors in September. Racha fame Sampath Nandi will be wielding megaphone for this movie. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan wanted to produce the movie himself but now he has entrusted the job to his friend Sharath Marar but the actor’s production house, Pawan Kalyan Creative Works, will be presenting it. Jaynan Vincent will be cranking the camera. Devi Sri Prasad will score the music.
