3 Flops In 4 Weeks On Telugu OTT

As many as 4 mainstream Telugu films, namely Good Luck Sakhi, Bangarraju, Hero, and Rowdy Boys are arriving on OTT in the next four weeks. The interesting thing is that 3 out of these 4 films were flops at the box office, while Bangarraju turned out to be an average grosser.

Bangarraju

The Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer registered okayish box office returns. Now, around a month post its theatrical release, the film is heading for OTT release as it arrives on ZEE5 on the 18th of February.

Good Luck Sakhi

The Keerthy Suresh starrer could not even post mention-worthy numbers at the box office and it ended up as a disaster in terms of box office collections. The film is now arriving on Amazon Prime Video on 12th February, which is exactly 15 days post its theatrical release.

Hero

The film marks the acting debut of Ashok Galla, the nephew of Mahesh Babu. It too disappeared without a trace at the box office. The film is arriving on Disney+ Hotstar on the 11th of this month.

Rowdy Boys

The film arrives on ZEE5 on the 8th of March. The makers aggressively promoted the film ahead of its theatrical release but it couldn’t mint profits to the buyers. The film has Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish Reddy and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.

Barring Bangarraju, none of the films were successful at the box office. It remains to be seen how the OTT audience will receive these films.
