​​Adipurush, in both its Telugu and Hindi versions, has surpassed $3 million in gross earnings in North America. This is significant considering the limited number of films that have reached this milestone in the region. Currently, there are a total of 7 movies in the prestigious $3 million club, with Adipurush being the latest addition.

As the makers handled the film’s own distribution, there is no specific breakeven number for Adipurush. The distributor followed the pricing model typically adopted by Hindi films. Interestingly, the distributor reduced ticket prices, including for 3D screenings, right from the first day itself, which can be seen as both an advantage and a disadvantage in this case.

Had Adipurush been distributed by a Telugu distributor, it could have easily collected an additional million due to higher ticket prices and extensive promotions. On the flip side, despite facing heavy criticism, the film managed to attract audiences to theaters due to the lower ticket prices.

Prabhas alone accounts for 4 (Baahubali 1 & 2, Saaho, Adipurush) out of the 8 films in the $3 million club, with the Telugu film industry (TFI) having a total of 8 films in this prestigious group.
