4 Seniors For Sankranthi: What Will Netflix Do?

This Sankranthi season is going to be a rather eventful one for Tollywood with the arrival of not one or two, but all four senior stars of Tollywood, and this has led to a discussion already.

Firstly, Chiranjeevi’s Viswambhara, Venkatesh’s film with Anil Ravipudi, and Balayya’s NBK109 have all lined up Sankranthi 2025 release.

Nagarjuna is also all but confirmed to arrive with a film of how own coming Sankranthi season. He vowed to do the same after tasting respite with Naa Saami Ranga this Sankranthi.

But the issue here is that Netflix, which already bought NBK109 is bound to buy at least 1 or 2 more films that are lined up for Sankranthi.

Usually, Netflix prefers to have a healthy gap between the theatrical releases of its acquisitions. This is to ensure the OTT debuts of these films have sufficient gap as well.

But in this case, all four Tollywood senior stars are arriving in the same week this Sankranthi. This should be a tricky situation not just theatrically but also for OTT giants, particularly Netflix which is usually aggressive when it comes to buying Telugu films.

As far as the audience are concerned, this clash between the veteran stars is going to be interesting to watch. After the clash between Chiru and Balayya last Sankranthi, all four veterans are in the race this time around.
