5Cr bonus for lead pair who are minors

Marathi film ‘Sairat’, the film in which 15-year old Rinku Rajguru and 20-year old Akash Thosar made their debut went on to become the highest grosser in the entire Marathi film industry collecting Rs.60 crores out of Rs.4Cr investment.

Initially the minor actors were paid Rs.4 lakhs each by the popular production house, Zee Studios. But the makers have now decided to award a bonus of Rs.5 crore each for the lead pair who are crucial in the success of the movie with their stellar performances.

People and critics are lauding the lead pair alike. Their talent is appreciated everywhere and the film is said to be having an unstoppable run since its release. So, the bonus for the lead pair is well deserved. Don’t you think so? This film is said to be going to be remade in other languages and Telugu happens to be one of them.
