Well, Radhe Shyam‘s art director Ravindra has provided a cryptic yet highly intriguing update on the budget spent on the sets that were erected for the film.
“I can’t reveal the exact amount spent on the sets, but we spent a lot,” Ravindra says. The interviewer then says “I heard that around Rs 75 crores were spent on the sets alone.” To which, Ravindra says “Rs 75 crores is too small of an amount. We spent much more than that.”
Well, if the art director’s comments are to go by, a lot more than Rs 75 crores were spent on the sets of Radhe Shyam, which really is a staggering statistic. Due to the Covid situation, the unit couldn’t freely shoot in foreign locations. So, the makers erected several sets at Ramoji Film City, which appears to have resulted in a steep spike in the overall budget.
