Is It Allu Arjun or Nani for Tamil Director?

C Prem Kumar the director of critically acclaimed Tamil romantic entertainer ’96’ is waiting for Dil Raju to return to India as the producer was away from the country. We have already reported that Dil Raju was literally bowled over by ’96’ and keen on remaking the movie in Telugu with either Nani or Allu Arjun.

However, we have our own doubts. We opine that this movie might not be suitable for a star hero like Allu Arjun to get into the shoes of the role portrayed by Vijay Sethupathy in the original. The story doesn’t need a star like Allu Arjun. Coming to Nani, the natural star has already acted in a similar film though not exactly the same premise. ‘Ninnu Kori’ had a similar vibe with a similar setup and told in an entertaining way.

So, it might look like a repetition for Nani. The Tamil director is hoping big way that Dil Raju will give him the chance to direct the Telugu remake, as well and therefore, waiting for Dil Raju to come back from the US trip. Let’s wait and see who will pick up this critically acclaimed movie on which Dil Raju has lost his heart, totally and want to remake it in Telugu though we have apprehensions if the Telugu remake will work like it did in Tamil.
