In the current situation, only 50% occupancy is allowed and it would be a shame to release the film with such a low occupancy rate. It would be pure injustice to a kickass mass entertainer like KGF 2 to release in this scenario. The makers have to wait until the theatres are allowed to have 100% occupancy.
It’s not just in one language, the theatre occupancy should be cent per cent in all the languages the movie will be releasing including Hindi. Hope, the makers would be able to hold up the finances and other factors etc. till 100% would be allowed.
Movies like ‘RRR‘ and ‘KGF’ are purely made for theatrical experiences with mass elevation moments, heavy CGI works and big capital investment on making the movie and also the promotional campaigns. So, they need to wait and hold till the theatres’ scenario changes.
