A Weak Third Single From LIE

The third single from the movie LIE is out. It is called Laggam Time, and it doesn’t shine like the previous numbers, Bombhaat and Miss Sunshine.

The single highlights the long persisting problem with senior music director Mani Sharma. It lacks a cohesive hummable tune even though parts of it are catchy. It wasn’t an issue with the other two songs and no wonder they are a success. Still, a pattern of sorts is emerging as a class, mass and now a family backdrop kind of song is being unveiled.

At this point, there is probably no effect of the third single as in few days the all important trailer would be arriving. Hanu Raghavapudi is directing this variety love thriller starring Nithiin, Megha Aakash, and Arjun. LIE hits screens worldwide on August 11.
