Couple fights over Aamir, wife commits suicide

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan had set off a storm when he let it slip in an interview that his wife, Kiran Rao, suggested that they should move abroad in light of the incidents of intolerance in India. The news travelled like wildfire and soon was the topic of discussion in every household, one such being Sonam Pandey and husband Mayank’s. But the latest news about them is Sonam’s suicide following a heated with her husband over the same topic.

Apparently, Sonam and Mayank were having an ordinary morning discussing reports from the newspaper when her husband joked about the actor’s plan of leaving the country to settle abroad at his wife’s recommendation. Her husband’s comment about the actor infuriated Sonam who took the drastic step of ending her life.

While Police investigation is still in process, the family members allege that the death was caused by the consumption of a poisonous substance.
