Laal Singh Chaddha Locks OTT Platform

The biggest of Bollywood films like Shamshera and Samrat Prithviraj are biting the dust, and now all eyes are on Aamir Khan‘s Laal Singh Chaddha, the official remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and is slated for a grand release on August 11.

According to the latest reports, OTT giant Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical rights of Laal Singh Chaddha for a whopping price. This means that the movie will be available for digital streaming after a few weeks of its theatrical release. However, the makers still have to make an official announcement.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is playing a crucial role in this biggie. The film is produced by Aamir Khan, Viacom 18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. Megastar Chiranjeevi is presenting the Telugu version of the movie.

Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and others form the rest of the cast of the movie. Shah Rukh Khan is rumored to make a guest appearance in the film. The buzz is expected to escalate in the next few weeks, which is quite low as of now. Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan is clashing with LSC to cash in on the holiday season of Independence day.
