The title song of “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” was a sensation in the 2000s, capturing the imagination of many young adults.
Featuring Emraan Hashmi and Tanushree Dutta, the song’s provocative scenes and steamy chemistry made it a guilty pleasure for many born in the 90s. With intense smooches and half-nude Tanushree, it was one of the sexiest songs of all time, often watched in secret by its young fans.
Tanushree Dutta, who also appeared alongside Balakrishna in Veerabhadra, may not have had a highly successful acting career, but her performance in the Aashiq Banaya Aapne song has carved herself a name in Bollywood history books.
In a recent interview, Tanushree made some unbelievable comments about the iconic song.
Reflecting on her experience, she said, “In the song, the chemistry between Emraan Hashmi and me was like that of a brother and sister.”
Tanushree’s unexpected statement shocked social media users, leaving many in disbelief. Her comments have taken away the song’s sex appeal, and people might not want to watch it for its sensual scenes anymore.
The idea of a brother-sister equation has definitely changed how fans see the song.
