Actress Hansika Trapped in Police Case?

Hansika Motwani, once the bubbly actress in Telugu, now one of the successful heroines of Tamil Cinema has been filed a case against by the religious people for hurting their feelings. The actress is currently doing her 50th film Maha and the poster of the same has got her tangled in controversy now.

A poster from Maha where Hansika can be seen in the religious costume and smoking amongst a couple of sadhus. This made the religious guys irate and file a case against her and her director with the court. The film is apparently a female-centric thriller and Hansika is hoping for a good hype in her career with this film for she hadn’t had a proper hit this year lately.

While Hansika is hitting the half-century with this film, it is the debut for the director UR Jameel. They both definitely wouldn’t want the film to land in controversy and get some dirt before release and have not responded on the issue yet. Let us see if this case, as usual, gets some more publicity to the film or push it into more trouble.
