Aditya Varma -The Reboot Sticks To The Original

The new first look and title of the reboot of the shelved debut of Dhruv Vikram are out. It finally aligns with the vision of the original from Telugu, Arjun Reddy. The title Adithya Varma is ditto redoing of the original.

The entire cast and crew of the remake have been revamped. There is a new director as we all know. Girisam, who worked as an assistant on the Telugu original for Arjun Reddy has been handled the directorial reigns. Ravi K Chandran has been roped in as the cinematographer. Banita Sandhu and Priya Anand are the heroines. Only the confirmation regarding the music director is awaited.

The idea seems to be clear based on the first look of the Adithya Varma. It should be bigger and better compared to Arjun Reddy. If this was the idea the idea one wonders why couldn’t they have done it in the first place. In a way, it highlights the idea of why spoil something that is good in the first place and then trying to recreate it again. Now, the audience may feel disappointed on both ends of the spectrum.
