Advance Booking: Target SRA For DevaDas

DevaDas is the big release this week among Telugu releases. It is getting a vast release as there are expectations for it to be a huge one. The first time coming together of King Akkineni Nagarjuna with Natural Star Nani is the reason for expectations. It is an exciting multistarrer combination.

However, leading up to the release, DevaDas somehow lacked the hype of a biggie. It was absent despite two notable names coming together. Much worse was expected, but the good news is there has been a pick up just a day before the release.

DevaDas which ideally should have set the record for second league openings is not in the record race, as of now. At the current pace, the target here is Shailaja Reddy Alludu that came a couple of weeks back. If DevaDas manages to cross that, it would have done awesomely as it arrives in mid-week without any holiday.

Overall, DevaDas needs to put up a big number to justify the budget, and coming together of Nagarjuna and Nani. The talk will be the key now, as the pre-release buzz is on the normal level.
