Advance Bookings: Liger Ticking Right Boxes

Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh‘s Liger is releasing in 3 days from now, 25th August and the advance booking for the film are on a very satisfactory note in the Telugu states and particularly so in Hyderabad.

The advance bookings in Hyderabad are almost on par with a star hero’s film. This is an impressive feat from Vijay, who last delivered a disaster like World Famous Lover.

The bookings in the Hindi belt are ordinary and that’s understandable, given that the Hindi audience are in no rush to watch new releases in a hurry. They’ve been very picky. Liger could be opening to a tally of around Rs 2-4 crores nett in the Hindi belt. Word of mouth will be the key for the film to make it big in the Hindi belt.

As for the overseas, Liger is doing impressively well in the USA as it has grossed $150K from advance sales till now. The film could well have a 400K+ grossing premieres which is again another impressive number in the USA market in the post pandemic era.

Liger is ticking the right boxes when it comes to advance sales in the Telugu states and in USA. The sales could go higher as the release date approaches. Reviews and word of mouth will be the key for the film in Hindi.
