A new week and a new film are postponed. After Allari Naresh’s Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam last week, this week Vijay Antony’s Bethaludu (Shaitaan in Tamil) is getting moved to an unknown future.

The reason is well known by this point. It is the issue with banning of currencies. It has created a liquidity crunch and rotation of money, which is very important for the movie business, has stopped. No one knows clearly when everything will be back to normal.

Bethaludu was initially slated to release on November 17. It is carrying good buzz among the trade as its follow-up of Bichchagdu, one of the most genuine single screen blockbuster successes in a very long time.
