Director Venu Udugula, known for Needi Naadi Oke Katha and Virata Parvam, steps into production with his debut venture, Raju Weds Rambai. Directed by Saailu Kampati, the film is based on a true story and set in the Khammam and Warangal border.

The film’s previously released glimpse impressed everyone. In the glimpse, the female lead introduces herself as Yenaganti Rambai, describing their love story as famous in their village, much like the coal mines of Yellandhu. Comparing her love story with Teenmaar and Do Maar.
Set in rural Telangana, Raju Weds Rambai promises to be a heartwarming love story. The film is produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi, under the banners of Dholamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales.
