After V, Rana’s Next Bows Out Due To CoronaVirus

Days after the announcement of the postponement of Nani and Sudheer Babu starrer V, here comes another one. The Rana Daggubati starrer Aranya has been pushed ahead indefinitely.

The reason for Aranya (and few more to come ahead) getting postponed is also the same as V. It is the Corona Virus scale. There was no surprise at all in the decision being made as things were so obvious, well before the announcement is out officially.

Aranya is trilingual, supposed to release simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi along with Telugu. Even before the lockout in Telangana, many major Hindi markets were closed by their respective governments. It left them with no option.

A new release date will be announced later. It won’t be anytime soon for sure. The makers, even before the corona threat, were looking at a small delay, according to the industry buzz. The current situation just made it easy for them.

Rana has busied himself with multiple works and is managing all of them simultaneously. Aranya’s push, therefore, might appear to be a temporary setback for the fans of the star, who wish to see him on the big screen.
