They were former lovers who swore never to act together again but southern actors Simbu and Nayantara are teaming up for a new Tamil film, which will be directed by Pandiraj. The last time Simbu and Nayantara were seen together in Vallava, which was produced and directed by Simbu.
The last time they pair came together it was received very well by the audience and soon after that they fell in love and dated for a while before parting ways. Simbu will be producing this untitled film, which is expected to be dubbed in Telugu as well since both of them are popular in Telugu. Nayantara is known through her Telugu films while Simbu has gained a strong foothold in the industry thanks to hit songs in Telugu films.
The director said that the script demanded Nayan for the role and he had been trying to convince her for nearly six months and finally got her to okay the film. They are expected to start shooting.
