After the failure, Superstar looks for a quick release

Superstar Rajinikanth is not devoid of failures, he faced several failures in the past. But the recent failure he got in the form of Kochadaiiyaan is too much to take. The movie failed to create the minimum buzz which normally a Rajinikanth starer should normally make. But now the Superstar is not bogged down and is seriously working day and night for his upcoming film, Lingaa. Also the actor do not want his fans to be in disappointment and is planning to release the film for Diwali.

The other reason for this plan is that Diwali is not a big season for film releases in Andhra Pradesh. So, they can safely have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil as well. It was one of those rare occasion in recent times when two of Rajinikanth movies hit the theatres in the same year. With growing age, the actor slowed down and is doing less films. The Superstar almost had a 4 year gap between Robo and Kochadaiiyaan for various reasons.
