Finally the long delayed Autonagar Surya has been cleared by censor board. The film has got U/A rating from the board with few cuts and muting of dialogues.
Autonagar Surya is directed by Deva Katta and stars Naga Chaitanya in the lead. The film was launched few years ago and was expected to release in succession with Dhada and Bezawada but unfortunately due to the monetary problems the film kept getting postponed. Director Deva Katta’s critical acclaim and presence of heroine Samantha had given the film good hype initially but due to the long delay it had lost all its glory. Now many feel that despite its long delay the makers couldn’t have asked for a right release time as the Akkineni’s are currently on a high with the super success of Manam.
Will the success of Manam rub onto this film when it hits the screens later this week? We have to wait and see.
