AIB Knockout: Obscene insults going political

All India Bakchod Knockout (AIB) show was hosted by popular Bollywood film maker Karan Johar, while Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor had been the actors who readily accepted to get roasted on the stage while obscene and offensive insults were thrown on them. The show was uploaded on Youtube and registered hundred crore clicks within very short span.

The show meant for charity might have been a mega hit but it definitely did offend India for the vulgarity it showcased. Maharashtra government is very serious on the offensive nature of the AIB Knockout video and an FIR has been filed on the show. The latest talk is that there are threats on the actors involved to stop their next films’ releases if they didn’t apologise.

But there is a stream of audience who have really enjoyed the show and going harsh on the moral policing when the nation is facing with more grave problems. There is a growing support for the show’s concept which enables them to see and hear their stars in the crudest form away from the rote learnt and mugged up dialogues.
