No Telugu Release but Big in Tamil & OS

While the Ajith’s Tamil film ‘Vedhalam’ is all set for Deepavali release, there is still no buzz regarding the release of the Telugu version of the film. The makers of the movie have planned for a wide release in Tamil Nadu and Overseas, making it the widest release for any of Ajith’s movies till date.

It is learnt, ‘Vedhalam’ will be released in record number of locations i.e., 58 locations in UK and 200+ in U.S. making it the biggest release for Ajith in overseas. Depending on the performance of the film, more locations might be added after release of the film. Going by Ajith’s previous track record, this film is aimed at expansion of his market in overseas.

Coming to Telugu market, Ajith’s market is poor here and there seems to be no buzz on the dubbed version’s release in Telugu. So the makers of the movie have no plans to release the film in Nizam and Andhra along with the Tamil release on this Deepavali.
