Akhanda: Luck Fails To Smile On The Senior Actor!

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s previous film, Legend has changed the fate of Jagapathi Babu forever. A struggling actor Jagapathi Babu has become one of the busiest and highest paid supporting actors and villians in Telugu film industry today.

When Boyapati has announced Srikanth playing the villain in his next with Balakrishna, there were hopes that he would cast similar magic for Srikanth as well but it has not worked out that way. This is the second film of Srikanth as villain after Yuddham Sharanam.

Srikanth’s character in Akhanda movie is very poorly written. We only get to see his blackened face with a different Getup and there is nothing beyond that. There are no major confrontation scenes and dialogues for him to elevate the villain character.

There is barely any scope for him to impress the audience. We only see him moving across with serious look throughout the film. So, it’s going to be another forgettable outing for Srikanth as a baddie. Probably, his time in the second innings is yet to arrive.
