Watch: Ram Charan Is My Go-to Person.

Akhil Akkineni’s film Lenin is coming to cinemas on July 10th after a long gap since Agent. He’s refreshingly active in the promotions. Akhil spoke with M9 about how his career is judged and how he handles it. He also discussed how failure impacts him and how he overcomes it.

He spoke about his close bond with Charan and Jr.Ntr, explaining why Charan is his safe space and how much he enjoys spending time with Jr.Ntr. He also mentioned his mother Amala as his comfort zone where he can be vulnerable and express himself freely.

Akhil shared his perspective on Pan-Indian cinema culture, praising Rajamouli for paving the way with Eega. He acknowledged Prabhas’s efforts in continuing this tradition and even hinted at his own plans to make a Pan-Indian film. However, he’s realistic about the limitations of such films.

We were initially sceptical about how Akhil would respond to various topics, but his mature and active responses were surprisingly positive. This interview highlights his dedication to his career, life, and projecting himself.
