Akhil locks disastrous status for debut

Things have become clear to one and all on the third day of Akhil’s run, if it wasn’t on the second day. The writing was on wall from opening itself but a good total for first day meant temporary suspension of reality.

The fact right now is that Akhil is coming down and coming down big time. The day to day drop from first to second and from second to third is huge implying a crash. The film has started getting deficits in theaters from third day itself which has made many, including fans, question – was the massive release required for a midweek release.

The only interest currently for the fans is to check if Akhil can cross the 20 Cr mark at this point. What this also means is that Damarukam would remain the highest grossing solo Akkineni family film even after three years.
