According to trade insiders, Akshara Haasan, sister of Shruti Haasan and daughter of Kamal Haasan, may soon make her cinematic debut with a Telugu film. Apparently, Shruti, who is having a successful run in Telugu industry, has referred her sister’s name to a top producer in the industry.
The question is who will she pair opposite and which film will it be. Will it be another big-budget commercial pot-boiler or will Akshara choose something wisely unlike her sister and prove her acting prowess.
I hope she doesn’t follow in her sister’s footsteps and probably try and carve a niche for herself in the industry. I’m sure that day is not far away when we will see both the sister locking horns at the box-office.
