Akshay lessens Robo 2.0 budget by 100 crores!

Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar has replaced international star Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the nemesis of Rajnikanth in Robo 2.0. Playing a negative role is not a new thing for Akki. At one point of time, when he was ahead of Salman Khan in the box-office numbers race, he did a negative role in ‘Mujse Shaadi Karogi’ starring Salman as the protagonist.

To play an out snd out villain in Enthiran 2.0, Akshay reportedly quoted a remuneration of Rs.25 crores. This seems to be a huge remuneration if we go by the standards of Indian film industry. But we know that reports emerged that Schwarzenegger demanded as high as Rs.120 crores for the same role.

The very issue of remuneration made the makers to drop the international star and go for Akshay Kumar. This means Akshay has lessened Shankar’s film budget by approximately Rs.100 crores. That’s a huge amount indeed! Instead of gushing about Akki’s pay, a comparison will leave us astonished.
