Alia Bhatt Takes Direct OTT Route

Alia Bhatt is the talk of the town as the trailer of her new Hindi film, Gangubai Khatiawadi has gone viral in no time. She is playing the most challenging character of her life in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.

On the other hand, she has also just wrapped up a new Hindi film called Darlings that is being produced by Shahrukh Khan and Alia herself. The film is now made headlines as it is skipping its theatrical release and will be out on OTT.

Ever since the news has come out, Netflix and Zee 5 are trying hard to bag the rights of this female-centric film. These OTT giants are quoting some big money for the streaming rights and only time will tell who will bag the rights.

Meanwhile, Darlings is directed by Jasmeet R and also has noted actress Shefali Shah and Vinay Varma in lead roles. The film is about a delicate family drama and Alia plays the central role. Legendary director, Vishal Bhardwaj composes the music.
