Director Sekhar Kammula returns after a gap of a few years with a multi-starrer — featuring Telugu star Nagarjuna and Tamil star Dhanush. While both the teaser and trailer have worked fairly well, the overall Kuberaa buzz is moderate — not overwhelming, but certainly not dull either.
As with most Sekhar Kammula films, real excitement typically builds only after the first premiere talk is out.
In Kuberaa’s case, the stakes are significantly higher — considering the film’s scale, budget, and the current dry state of theatrical buyers in the industry.
This time, it’s crucial for Kammula not just to deliver — but to deliver big to pull audiences to theatres in large numbers.
The first U.S. premieres will begin around 3:00 a.m. IST, and since the film runs close to three hours, the initial talk should start surfacing by 6:00 a.m. IST.
As always, stay tuned to M9 News for the most grounded, realistic, and detailed Kuberaa review straight from the U.S. premieres.
