All Chances of Tollywood Resumption Are Now Shattered?

The other day, there was news that Boddu Prabhakar, an actor working in a Zee Telugu serial named Suryakantham had tested positive for Coronavirus. The shooting of the serial was stopped and tests were performed on all the cast and crew of the Serial.

The latest information is that seven more members in a TV serial crew have tested positive for coronavirus. There is a sense of panic in the teams of every TV Serial that began to shoot. Interestingly, all those who were tested positive did not have any symptoms.

All the TV serials have stopped their shootings and are testing the cast and crew. TV Serials have recently resumed their telecast and they are likely to come to a halt once again. This experience of the TV industry will further frighten the Telugu film industry which is already skeptical about starting the shootings.

We are told that the film shootings are unlikely to begin before August. Some filmmakers are even in favorable to delay their shootings further in case the curve is not flattened. This is a real tough decision and will have huge financial implications on the industry.
