‘All is well’: Kamal Haasan on injury rumour

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, who is currently shooting in Kerala for Tamil thriller “Papanasam”, said that he wasn’t injured while shooting as being speculated by a section of media yesterday evening. He also said “all is well” with him.

“Before various new ailments are endowed upon me, I hasten to clarify that all is well. It is not true that I was injured while shooting,” Haasan said. “It was a makeup rubber prosthetic that slipped into my nasal passage and had to be carefully removed under medical supervision. It was a stunt scene so I had simulated injuries on the face,” he added.

The rumour circulated after Kamal was rushed to a hospital “with a bruised face (and that) led to the interpolated news. I am alright”. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, “Papanasam” is the Tamil remake of Malayalam blockbuster “Drishyam”.
