All new releases spell doom at the box office

Well this might come as a surprise but this week there were as many as six new releases. Unfortunately for the trade none of them managed to make a mark at the box office.

All these small films failed to even get face saving openings. The fact that not many are even aware of these many films releasing should in itself explain the situation in hand. Not that they otherwise had chance, with Baahubali releasing in a week from now the films releasing this week were doomed to begin with.

All eyes are as expectedly now on Baahubali which will hit the screens globally next week. The advance booking for the film has commenced and they have been phenomenal. Wait for the box office to explode in a week’s time.
