Allu Arjun Asks for Commitment From Sukumar

It’s been more than a year since Pushpa: The Rise was released, and still, the second part hasn’t gone on the floors. The shoot has been getting delayed again and again, much to the disappointment of fans.

Films like RC15, NTR30, or SSMB28 got delayed for some valid reasons. Shankar got stuck up with Indian 2, which is causing the delay for RC15. Whereas Koratala Siva had to sort out financial issues post-Acharya, leading to the delay of NTR30. SSMB28 also got postponed because of unfortunate demises in Mahesh babu’s family.

But things were all clear for Pushpa 2. The star cast, the team, and even the script were finalized. But then, Sukumar, after the unexpected pan-India success of the film, wanted to make the script even better, so he took a lot of time to rework the script.

Inside reports suggest that Allu Arjun has asked for a commitment from Sukumar to finish the shoot by August 2023, no matter when he starts the shooting. Allu Arjun is keen to start his next project with Trivikram in September.

We have to see how Sukumar will plan things to wrap up Pushpa: the Rule by August.
