Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, is facing a land dispute in Hyderabad.
A police complaint has been filed at the Gachibowli Police Station over an alleged attempt to occupy land in Nanakramguda. The complaint was reportedly filed by Anil Kumar, OSD to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha.
The dispute is linked to the Mantri Cosmos building in Nanakramguda. Representatives of the Mantri Cosmos Owners Association have reportedly approached the police, alleging that Chandrasekhar Reddy and two others, Muralidhar Reddy and Gaddam Ravi, entered the property without permission.
According to the complaint, the group allegedly broke locks at the south-west corner of the property, removed existing structures, and put up temporary tin sheds.
The association has also made serious allegations of intimidation. It claims that security guards who tried to stop them were threatened and warned not to interfere.
The disputed area is reportedly important for emergency access. The association says the passage is used by fire engines and water tankers during emergencies involving nearby software companies and multinational offices.
The owners association has reportedly submitted CCTV footage to the police. The footage allegedly shows the entry into the premises and arguments with security personnel.
The association has also approached senior police officials, including the DGP, Cyberabad Commissioner, and Madhapur DCP, seeking protection for the property.
Gachibowli police have reportedly acknowledged the complaint and assured that the allegations will be investigated.
